Ruff Recoveries

The reason why we colour ring!

Today we received another colour ringed Ruff sighting. In total seven Ruff were caught on 04/04/09 at North Duffield Carrs, and out of those seven, three have been seen again in a subsequent winter and two others have been seen away from the site, one in the Netherlands.

Ruff (DB88671) ringed as a 4M on 04/04/09 at North Duffield Carrs, recovered on 31/03/10 at North Duffield Carrs.

Ruff (DB88171) ringed as a 6M on 19/02/03 at Bubwith Bridge, recovered on 16/02/06 at North Duffield Carrs, 15/05/06 at Aughton Ings and then 09/02/07 at Ellerton Ings.

Ruff (DB88670) ringed as a 6M on 04/04/09 at North Duffield Carrs, recovered on 02/02/10 at North Duffield Carrs, 03/02/10 at Bubwith Ings, 13/03/10 at North Duffield Carrs and lastly 03/07/10 in the Netherlands.

Ruff (SV57655) ringed as a 4F on 04/04/09 at North Duffield Carrs, recovered on 03/02/10 at Bubwith Ings.

Ruff (DB88667) ringed as a 6M on 04/04/09 at North Duffield Carrs, recovered on 03/02/10 at Bubwith Ings.

Ruff (1485521) ringed as a 4M on 29/04/05 in the Netherlands, recovered on 15/07/05 at Cley Marshes Norfolk, 12/06/06 in Norway, 30/06/06 at Cley Marshes Norfolk, 22/08/06 at Blacktoft, The Humber, 12/12/06 at North Duffield Carrs, 08/08/07 at Cley Marshes Norfolk, 21/04/08 at Wheldrake Ings, 24/04/08 in the Netherlands, 05/05/08 in Sweden and lastly 03/01/09 at Bubwith Ings!
